Billing Tab Fields and Buttons

Use the fields and buttons on this tab to view and set information about tasks and billing.

Most of the fields and buttons on the Billing tab are the same as those described for the Financials Page. The following table describes the options that are specific to the Billing tab.

Below the Billing Tab Grid

Field Description
Billing History This area displays the billing history, including Billed to date and Left to bill.
Billed to date This field displays the amount that has already been billed.
Left to Bill This field displays the amount that still has to be billed.
Billing Status Choose a billing status from this drop-down:
  • Not Billed
  • Part Billed
  • Billing Complete

Realization as Billed can only be calculated after the job is in a Billing Complete status.

Click to create a draft invoice. This does not create an actual invoice.
Click to display the Issue Invoice pop-up where you can choose the:
  • Invoice issue date
  • Invoice template
  • Invoice format
  • Client address
  • Billing status
  • System status

You can then click Issue Invoice to issue the invoice.

Click to view a list of the invoices that have already been issued.
Click to make the order of tasks in the billing tab match the order in the Time, Expenses, and Purchases tabs.
